3. Chrome Extension - Nucrox AI Auto Apply

Our Chrome extension helps automate your LinkedIn job applications. This section explains what data the extension collects and how it works.

3.1 What the Extension Collects

Information Stored Locally (in your browser):

  • Your auto-apply profile (name, email, phone number)
  • Your uploaded resume file
  • Job application preferences (job titles, locations, experience levels)
  • Authentication session tokens

Information Sent to Our Servers:

  • Job application history (job titles, companies, application dates)
  • Custom question answers generated by AI
  • Application success/failure status
  • Daily application counts for credit management

Information We Access on LinkedIn:

  • Job posting details (title, company, description) for jobs you choose to apply to
  • Application form fields on Easy Apply jobs
  • Your public LinkedIn profile information (to pre-fill forms)

What We DO NOT Collect:

  • Your LinkedIn password or login credentials
  • Your LinkedIn messages or connections
  • Your LinkedIn activity feed or posts
  • Browsing history outside of LinkedIn job pages

3.2 Extension Permissions Explained

Our extension requires certain permissions to function. Here's what each permission does:

Storage

Purpose: Save your profile and preferences locally in your browser

Cookies

Purpose: Authenticate with your Nucrox account using secure session tokens

ActiveTab

Purpose: Read job posting details when you click "Apply"

Scripting

Purpose: Inject scripts to automate form filling on LinkedIn

Tabs

Purpose: Navigate between job postings during multi-apply sessions

Notifications

Purpose: Alert you about application status, errors, or completion

3.3 LinkedIn Integration

We only access LinkedIn data when you actively choose to apply to a job. We access:

  • Job posting information for jobs you select
  • Application form fields to auto-fill your information
  • Your public profile data for form pre-filling

This extension is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected with LinkedIn Corporation.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

Service Providers: AI providers for generating application responses, cloud hosting services, and analytics services (anonymized)

Payment Processors: Stripe for subscription management (we don't store payment details)

Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights and safety

5. Data Retention

  • Active Accounts: Data retained while your account is active
  • Inactive Accounts: Data deleted after 12 months of inactivity
  • Deleted Accounts: Most data deleted within 30 days
  • Application History: Retained for 2 years or until you delete it

Extension Data Management

  • Uninstall the extension to remove all local data
  • Delete your Nucrox account to remove server-side data
  • Disable extension anytime from Chrome toolbar
  • View all data from your Nucrox dashboard

We implement appropriate security measures including:

  • All data transmitted via HTTPS encryption
  • Session-based authentication (no passwords stored in extension)
  • Local storage isolated from other extensions
  • Regular security audits and updates
  • Minimal data collection principle

8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and stored on servers in the United States and other countries. By using our services, you consent to this transfer. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers.

9. Children's Privacy

Nucrox AI Auto Apply is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we discover we have collected data from a child, we will delete it immediately.
